I've taught her well

I walked into the family room this Sunday afternoon to see Alexa on the couch with scissors in her hand cutting something...to my surprise... COUPONS!  She was so excited about it!  She happily informed me she was cutting coupons for toys that her and Audrie and Matt could buy for each other for Christmas and then tells me to put them in "my binder".

Alexa calls me the "crazy coupon lady" (Now who's the crazy coupon lady? Haha) because of this...

My pile of coupons that are stacked and dated from most current.

However, I am getting them organized into this lovely zipped binder which I proudly tote around when shopping.

Why?  Because who doesn't like to save 60-80% on groceries and get stuff free...that's right FREE?  Like last week when I got 14 tubes of toothpaste-for free.  Talk about being on a high!

I was one proud mama when I saw the joy that comes from clipping in her eyes!
*Warning: Naked bum and chest are about to appear.*

We were all on the floor in the family room while I was getting Matt into his jammies.  He's at that age..loves to escape and crawl away.  I happened to have the camera on the side table next to me so I grabbed it, just as he was climbing over Brandon with his butt right in his face.  We laughed so hard-the girls got such a kick out of it!

HALLOWEEEEN!

The girls informed me last Halloween that they wanted to be cheerleaders this year.  I was surprised that they remembered after a year and still wanted to dress as that.

Before their school parties.

Alexa in her school parade.

When Saturday actually came along for trick-or-treating, Audrie had changed her mind in what she wanted to be.  Go figure!  She found a "fairy" dress downstairs and insisted in being that.  Since I didn't have to buy anything I wasn't oppossed to the idea.

Here's our fairy (minus the wings)...

Cheerleader (according to her from High School Musical)...

And our Lil Cub...

Just as we sit them down to get pics outside it starts raining...and doesn't stop the rest of the night.

So I tried to get some inside, but Matt was done.

Stopping by Grandma Watts before heading to my parents to go trick-or-treating.

The rain did not put a damper on things.  The girls ran from house to house with excitement and laughfter as they loaded their bags with candy.

Our Little Puppy

The girls keep begging to get a puppy, but I don't think that's going to happen, especially since we already have one...

He likes to eat off the floor...

He chases balls...

He's so smart he can even throw the ball...

The ball hides...

But he finds it...

Look at how good he sits...

And plays "chase-around-the-table"...

He likes to be scratched under the chin...

And on his belly...

By this pretty face...

And his lastest trick he's learned is to stand all by himself....tongue out, slobber and all.

And of course he is loved by all family members, especially this little lady.

Pre-school...FINALLY!

Audrie and I have both counted down for this day...and it's HERE!  Yeah!

Orientation Day: Audrie thought it was the first day so she wanted a picture.

Acutal first day of pre-school (October 20th-too long of a wait if you ask us):

Brandon had State Cross-Country, so he was able to walk Audrie to school before he left.  She was SO excited!  I grabbed the camera and ran outside to get a picture of them, but they were already down at the end of the street.  It's a little blurry and too far away, but good enough.
