Flat Stanley

Alexa came running home after school and was so excited about a project she was to do...Flat Stanley.  She knew immediately that she wanted to send it to Uncle Pooh, who is serving in the army in Fort Hood Texas.  Thankfully he was very cooperative and took Flat Stanley on an adventure around the base.

Here she is with the finished product...

Bath Time

The kids love bath time, especially when there are bubbles!

Easter

Because of the stomach bug that went around the family and winter-wonderland we had outside, there was no easter egg hunt this year.  However, the Easter bunny came and we did manage to have some fun with the Catons and Kayley (lucky parents were enjoying 80 degree weather in D.C.).  We had dinner, dyed easter eggs and celebrated Barts birthday, which happened to be the very day.

MB

Thanks to my parents, my sisters and I went to see Michael Buble in concert.  I've had a secret crush...well I guess it's no secret...on him for some time now and I was soooo excited to go!  It was one of the best concerts I've been to!  He is so entertaining, funny and very good to look at, not to mention his voice...Mmmm.  Brandon gave me permision before I left that if he invited me backstage to "just go!" :)  Well we didn't make it backstage, but he did get about 5-feet away and according to Michelle she felt his sweat.  I never thought I'd be one of those crazy fans, but sadly I was...Lets just say I hope no-one I know saw me and if you did it was well worth it. :)

Yes, I got a little camera happy...just a little..you know... before, during and after the concert. :) But who wouldn't with these beautiful and fun sisters I have?!  Love them!

Firsts

We've all had some firsts around here...

Brandon experienced his first concert..that's right FIRST.  I still cannot believe at 31 he had never been to one.  So...the country-music-lovin-people that we are, we went and saw Jason Aldean.  It was a blast!  If you were to ask Brandon what he thought he would say: "It's too loud!  My ears are ringing!  I think I'd rather watch this on TV at home."  What an old man!  Ha-Ha!

Alexa took a shower by herself.  Can she really be old enough to do that?  I have to say it freaked me out!  I'm still giving her baths.  I'm just not quite ready for that yet. :)

Audrie is in her first dance class and she loves it!  Both the girls are getting ready for their spring performance in June.  I'm looking forwarded to seeing it.

Matt is having "firsts" all the time.  I love when they are babies-exploring and learning new things daily.  Here he is sitting with no assistance for the first time.

As for me, I went to the laundromat for the very first time.  It was just me and Michael Buble (playing overhead).  It was lovely. :)
