Mister "no-neck" or "Uncle Fester" as his grandma Watts says, here at 6 months and weighing 22.5 pounds.  He was so serious at first that daddy had to help out...and so glad he did!

Matt got his helmet today (for the flat spot on the back of his head)...so sad, but kinda cute.  As you can tell he didn't like it when I first put it on, but he's adjusting.  Poor thing!  Hopefully it will only be for a few months and we'll be thankful we did it.

 

Room #3021 (B)

Poor Matt has been sick for more than half his little life with one thing after another.  He spent 2 days at Primary Children's Medical Center with Rhinovirus and Bronchiolitus, which caused him the need to be on oxygen.  He was sent home on it for a week-only to be ambulanced back up there 3 days later, this time with RSV.  We spent 9 days in a shared room, thankfully with the sweetest 1-month old boy and his lovely parents that we have now become friends with.  We're looking forward to a double date outside of Room #3021!

Even through all this he still manages to put on a smile....love this guy!

Random

One morning I'm doing Audrie's hair and notice a chunk on the side missing. At first I thought it was just re-growth, but a few days later I see scissors in her hand and she's pulling her hair forward ready to cut. I stop her and then realize that's exactly what she did earlier. So I ask her: "Audrie, did you cut your hair?" Well she of course doesn't say anything and then Alexa runs in the kitchen with this ziploc bag of hair and tells me that she saw Audrie put it under her pillow. What's the deal with that pillow!? And what made her decide to put it in a baggie and keep it!?

Matt's first attempt at rice ceral. He wasn't into it at all! It's taken awhile to get use to it, probably because he's been sick so much.
