Where we've been, Where we are & Where we're going...
We've been living in Logan the past two years while Brandon finished a degree in Math Education. It was busy and difficult at times to juggle school, work and family, but we made it through. Yeah! I think I can speak for all of us that it was the best two years. We really grew close together as a family. We LOVED living there and miss it a lot. We hope to move back again someday.
In mid-August Brandon got a call from the Jordan School District for an interview with Alta High School. They offered him a position on the spot and had to start the following Tuesday. Talk about being thrown into a job. Brandon had a week before school actually started to get his classroom, curriculm and lesson plans ready. He's been teaching now for a couple of weeks and is really loving it. He's already had some kids thank him and tell him he's the best math teacher they've had and that he's got a great sense of humor. Brandon's been a little overwhelmed with all of it, so it made him feel good to hear that. He'll start coaching wrestling in November and is looking forward to that.
Because all of this happened so quick, I spent the week he was down in Salt Lake packing and getting ready to move out that weekend. We put our things in storage for now and are living with my parents until we find a place. We don't know really where we're going, but we are at least grateful that Brandon has a job and that we have each other.

Beginning
I wasn't going to start a blog, mostly because it seems like the ones I've read are more of a brag blog or daily diary. However, I've decided it would be nice to let family and friends (since many of you we don't see or even talk with that often) know what we're up to. Plus I hear that you can print your blogs into books, which would be nice to have for our family.
So here goes...
