The End of 2008

Brandon and Alexa had a 2 week break and we had lots of fun together as a family. We took trax down-town to see the lights on Temple Square, saw a few movies, ate out, went ice-fishing, played at the Discovery Gateway Museum, hung out and relaxed at home. It was so nice and a perfect end to a great year (Although, Brandon was anxious to be busy working and coaching again-surprise, surprise). Looking forward to 2009!

Here comes Santa Claus!

The girls were so excited for Santa to come. After opening gifts, playing and bumming around the house, we headed over to Grandma Watts for dinner and more presents.

Audrie was thrilled to get "Cars". She loves playing with her cousins and now she has her own.

Alexa hugging her "Mr. Fuzzy". The best "Kiosk" gift ever! :)

Alexa posing with her new telescope. Can't wait to see the stars...or become one. Ha-Ha!

Cute Audrie riding her new scooter. The kitchen will have to do until it gets warmer outside.

Such a nice Christmas. I hope my kids always "believe"!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Child family. As tradition, grandma plans different games for the adults and grand-kids for our stocking gifts (mostly two-dollar bills). It's always exciting to see what ideas grandma comes up with each year. She is very creative and we always have a great time! It's so fun watching the kids get older and enjoy the games too.

We were put in teams for one of the games and we had to dress-up the kids as Christmas trees with whatever was in the bag we were given. Don't they look like it? Ha-Ha!

Love this picture of great-grandpa Child!

The girls loved the reindeer, but not when this one got too close.
