Firsts for Me

First Time I...

have ever ran a race (with my itty bitty sister :-).  It was only a 6k and I didn't do it in the fastest time, but that's okay because I did it!  It was a women's only race through the gorgeous Thanksgiving Point gardens.  Although a little raining and cold that morning, it was still so beautiful.  I totally plan on doing this again next year and Alexa's going to join me/us. Yay!

have ever re-finished furniture and love it!

 *We inherited this from Brandon's grandma, but I gave it a "new life".*

These pics don't give it justice.  It's a great piece of furniture and I love the way the color (which you can't really even tell in these pics) and glaze turned out.

I have also refinished a night table that I got at a thrift store for the girls room, a headboard for my mother and in the process of two other pieces.  It has been fun!
